Cookie and Device Storage Notice
This notice explains the cookies and similar storage technologies currently used by the Huddleby website and app. For information about personal data more generally, read our Privacy Notice.
What we currently use
Huddleby does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, tracking pixels or a third-party advertising network. We do not have a cookie-preference centre because we do not currently offer optional analytics or advertising cookies.
- Sign-in session: the app stores authentication session information on the device so you can remain signed in and securely use your account. The web app may store its authentication session in browser storage.
- Appearance preference: the mobile app stores your light or dark mode choice on your device.
- Map and service requests: when you use the map or load service resources, the relevant provider may receive technical request information such as your IP address and the resource or map tiles requested. This is not an advertising tracker set by Huddleby. See the Privacy Notice for the map providers.
Managing storage and permissions
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. Clearing app storage or signing out can remove a saved sign-in session and require you to sign in again. You can revoke location access at any time in iOS, Android or browser privacy settings; location access is optional and the map can still be browsed without it.
Browser and device controls work differently across products. See the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge.
Changes and questions
If we introduce non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will update this notice and provide any choice or consent mechanism required by law before using them. For questions, email support@findmyvillage.co.uk.
